As you may be aware, our sport/activity is a beneficiary of BingoLotto, a new TV game that started on 13 September as in shown on channel Virgin 1. Tickets are available at every Tesco till point, the show airs at 7pm on Sunday nights and there are thousands of prizes to be won each week. But most importantly of all, for every ticket sold, sport and the voluntary sector receives 40p. In Sweden, where the game originated, BingoLotto has already raised in excess of £1billion for sport. If we can do as well in the UK, our sport will be much better off as a result. But to make the game work, we need to make sure as many gamecards as possible are sold. And that is where you can help. We want you to tell as many people as you can about this exciting show and get involved yourself. We want you to buy a gamecard (from any Tesco store), watch the show and in doing so enjoy a better than one in ten chance of winning some great prizes. And the more people you can persuade to join you, the more money our sports will receive. It’s really important to the success of the show that we get good sales as early as possible so your help is vital. I’ve attached a poster which you can download and display in your club. The Scottish Sports Association will receive its allocation from our partners CCPR and this will then be available for all our member sports in Scotland.
