Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme): The Scottish Government has announced that the PVG Scheme will commence on 30 November 2010. This is is a new membership scheme that will replace and improve on the current disclosure arrangements for people who work with vulnerable groups. Full details of the scheme are contained in the documents below. SEA will ensure that all member bodies and authorised signatories are fully briefed on the implications of the scheme well before its commencement.
